Elias "Lee" Urbina, CPA

Chairman

Mr. Urbina is the Chairman of US&Co. as well as its original founding member. Mr. Urbina has an extensive background in energy, real estate, private equity, venture capital and consulting. He is a co-founder and director of several private equity and venture capital holdings, including his role as Chairman of Cielo Private Equity, LLC, an Austin, TX-based private equity firm focused on small to middle-market real estate, energy, and technology portfolios. Mr. Urbina also serves on the board of directors of Daylight Partners, a privately held venture capital firm offering consulting services to high-growth, revenue-positive companies. Mr. Urbina has served as both Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer in many organizations.

Mr. Urbina is a Certified Public Accountant in both Texas and Washington, a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Urbina graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting.

Craig Steadman, CPA

Partner, US&Co. Austin

Mr. Steadman is a Tax Partner with the Firm. He has been with the firm since 1991. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Steadman worked as a Field Agent with the United States Treasury. Mr. Steadman has 20 years experience in public accounting and over 25 years income tax experience. Mr. Steadman's practice includes a variety of entity formations including, but not limited to, sole proprietors, corporations, and partnerships for various types of clients including, but not limited to, restaurants, retail businesses, hospitality, retirement housing, residential, commercial and other real estate, and oil & gas.

Mr. Steadman holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Florida State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1991, Member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Public Accountants.

Mr. Steadman's primary practice areas are as follows: Tax Compliance and Tax Controversy, including Federal and State Income Tax, Franchise Tax, and Estate Tax.

Wanda McCarthy, CPA

Partner, US&Co. San Antonio

Mrs. McCarthy is a Tax and Assurance Partner with the Firm. She has provided tax and assurance services with the Firm since 1991. Mrs. McCarthy has over 30 years experience in public accounting, audit and income tax experience. Mrs. McCarthy's tax and audit practice includes a variety of entity formations including, but not limited to, sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, estates, and Mexican subsidiary entities for various types of clients including, but not limited to, wind power, retail businesses, governmental, HUD, construction, import and export companies, school districts, cities, counties, water districts apartment projects, convenience stores, dealerships, and credit unions.

Mrs. McCarthy holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Texas A&M University at College Station. She is a Certified Public Accountant since 1986, Member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Public Accountants.

Mrs. McCarthy's primary practice areas are as follows: Tax Compliance and Tax Controversy, Audit and Attestation Services, International Accounting, and Litigation Support.

Daniel Urbina, CPA, CGMA

Partner, US&Co. Seattle

Mr. Urbina retains over 10 years of experience in public accounting and advisory within asset management and pooled investment funds. Mr. Urbina currently invests and actively manages the operations, reporting and compliance for a number of real estate, energy, and private equity portfolios. Prior to this, Mr. Urbina served as co-manager of ForeVista, LLC, an asset management firm which provided compliance, reporting and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and municipalities in the development of residential and commercial real estate. In addition, Mr. Urbina served as VP of Finance for US Infrastructure, LLC, an independent enterprise which acquired middle-market midstream oil and gas investments. Prior thereto, Mr. Urbina was positioned as a senior associate with Ernst & Young, LLP's Financial Services Office in New York City assisting with the development and compliance of institutional hedge funds.

Mr. Urbina is a Certified Public Accountant in both Washington and Texas. In 2014, Mr. Urbina was awarded the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). The CGMA designation recognizes professionals who have deep understanding of finance and have expanded their business skills through experience as management accountants to help drive better business decisions. Mr. Urbina is a member of both the Texas and Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Urbina graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting.
